CONNECT SIGNALS TO THE TELEVISION
CONNECT A DIGITAL ANTENNA
The Digital tuner in this TV receives RF sig-
nals from an antenna. Other digital signals are
received through a STB via the Component
Input Jacks.
This Plasma TV can receive and decode ANY
digital signal (HDTV, EDTV, or SDTV).
However, the display is always EDTV.

ADDING NEW DIGITAL CHANNELS
DIGITAL ADD-ON SEARCH
Use this feature to add new digital channels or
to add digital channels with broadcast towers
that are in opposite directions from your home.
If necessary, after the initial search, turn the
antenna and use the On-Screen Menu to per-
form a Digital Add-on Search. Repeat these
steps for each direction in which there are
transmitting towers.
A Digital Add-on Search may take several min-
utes to complete.
NOTES: Digital Add-on Search will not affect channels
already in the channel database. It will only
add new channels that may be found.
Go to www.antennaweb.org and type in your
zip code to obtain specific tower vector infor-
mation.
Press the TUNER key to select the Digital

CONNECT AN ANALOG SIGNAL
The analog tuner in this Plasma TV can
receive Analog Antenna signals, Analog
Cable signals, or the RF output from a
Satellite Receiver, VCR, or cable box.
NOTE: The only resolution available with any of these
connections, regardless of the original content,
is standard analog (SDTV).

Use the CURSOR M key to choose Yes.

BEGIN CHANNEL SEARCH
NOTE: Before beginning channel search, point your
antennas toward the transmitting tower(s). For
tower information you can log onto
www.antennaweb.org, type in your zip code
and get a listing of the tower coordinates in
your area. The channel search process may take
several minutes. Please be patient.

Using a Fiber Optics cable, connect the TV’s Digital Audio Output to the Digital Audio Input of a Multi-Channel Receiver. (Fiber optics cable is not supplied.) NOTES: When making the connection, be careful not to bend the fiber optics cable too sharply.
