Introduction

Overview


This product is not designed to be waterproof. Do not expose this product to liquids such as sweat, rainwater or seawater.

Product, Accessory and Part Names (A)

  1. Controller
    * The microphone is built in.
  2. Eartips (SS, S, M, L, LL) 1 set each
    * The M-size eartips are attached.

Preparation

Charging (B)

With the included USB power cable, connect the charging connector on the earphones to the USB port on a commercially available USB power adaptor (5 V DC/min. 0.5 A output).

Making a Bluetooth® connection (C)

When using the earphones for the first time, the pairing process, which allows Bluetooth devices being connected to detect each other, must be performed. Once paired, the Bluetooth devices will be automatically connected the next time they are turned on.

Pairing

  1. Hold down the function key for at least five seconds to enter pairing standby.
  2. Operate the connected Bluetooth device to display the Bluetooth setting screen.
  3. Select "Yamaha EP-E50A" from the displayed screen.

Turning on/off

Hold down the function key on the controller for two seconds to turn the earphones on/off.

Basic operations

Listening to music

Play Briefly press the function key once.
Pause During playback, briefly press the function key once.
Raise the volume Briefly press the + key once.
Lower the volume Briefly press the – key once.
Skip to the next song Hold down the + key for two seconds.
Go back to the beginning of the song, or skip to the previous song Hold down the – key for two seconds.
Enable/disable AMBIENT SOUND and noise cancellation Press the ANC key.

Using the phone

Receive a phone call When a phone call comes in, briefly press the function key once.
End a phone call During the phone call, briefly press the function key once.
Raise the conversation volume Briefly press the + key once.
Lower the conversation volume Briefly press the – key once.
Ignore a call When a phone call comes in, briefly press the function key twice.
