PRECAUTIONS FOR USE

BE SURE TO READ

If objects made of metal (e.g., metal desks) are located near this unit, communication errors may occur with cards, and the unit may otherwise malfunction.
If malfunctions occur, keep the unit several centimeters away from metal surfaces.

System Requirements

This unit can be used in the following environments.

Basic Operation

Place a card on the unit.
Place the card so that the center of the card lies directly over the N-Mark on the unit.

To use the card holder

You can use the supplied card holder to fasten a card to the unit.
Using the card holder

To use the stand

You can place the unit on the supplied stand and place a card.

Place the unit on the stand.
Place the card so that it is aligned with the N-Mark on the unit.

Preparation

Check the package contents.
Check that the following items are included in the package.

Install the NFC port software to the computer.
Make sure that the unit is not connected to the computer before installing the NFC port software.
Notes

Verify operation with the self-diagnostic tool.
1. Follow the instructions on the screen to perform self-diagnosis, and verify that the unit is functioning properly.
  If "x" appears as the self-diagnosis result, follow the instructions on the self-diagnosis screen.
