The Favorite Apps utility displays launch points for six applications. Each launch point is a screen
representation of that application with the launcher icon in the bottom left corner. Touch a launch point to
launch the application.
To add an application to the Favorite Apps utility, do the following:
1. Touch and hold the Favorite Apps icon from the system bar to open the Add or Remove applications
screen. The Favorite Apps utility panel is displayed at the bottom of the screen and the preinstalled
applications library is displayed at the top.
2. Scroll through the applications and drag the desired application icon to an open slot in the Favorite Apps
utility panel. The application is added.
To remove an application from the Favorite Apps utility, do the following:
1. Touch and hold the Favorite Apps icon from the system bar to open the Add or Remove applications
screen.
2. Drag the desired application launch point from the Favorite Apps utility panel to the applications library.
The application slot on the utility is now empty.

Managing recently launched applications

If you have launched several applications and want to switch between them, use the Recent Apps application.
To launch Recent Apps, touch the Recent Apps icon
recently launched applications. Scroll through the applications and touch an application to switch to it.
You also can use Recent Apps to close an application by touching the red X in the top right corner of
the listed application.
To view all applications that are running, do the following:
1. From the main Home screen, touch the Android Settings icon

2. Touch Applications ➙ Running services. A list of running applications is displayed.
To close an application from the running services view, do the following:
1. Touch the application you want to close and then touch Stop.
2. Touch OK to confirm the action.

Sharing your mobile data connection

You can share your tablet's mobile data connection with a single computer through USB tethering or through
Bluetooth tethering. You also can share your tablet's data connection with multiple devices at the same time
by setting your tablet as a portable Wi-Fi hotspot.
Note: The tethering and hotspot functions might not be supported by all carriers.
To share your tablet's mobile data connection through USB:
1. Use the supplied USB cable to connect your tablet to your computer.
2. From the main Home screen, touch the Android Settings icon
