    WARNING WARNING: To avoid fire, shock, and serious personal injury, follow these instructions. Do Not mount the fan on radiant-heating ceilings. Safety Instructions 1. Read your owner’s manual carefully and keep it for future reference. 2. Before servicing or cleaning unit, switch power off at service panel and lock service panel disconnecting means to prevent power from being switched on accidentally.

    General Information This Sloped Ceiling Kit can be used with any WARNING Emerson ceiling fan. This kit must only be attached to an outlet box marked acceptable for fan support. To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or personal injury, mount fan to outlet box marked acceptable for fan support, and use screws supplied with outlet box.

  • Page 7 14. Raise the ceiling cover up to the hanger bracket (Figure 11) and determine which set of tapped holes (“A” or “B”, Figure 10) should be used so that the ceiling cover slot will clear the downrod. (On lesser sloped ceilings, it will not matter which set of holes are used.
