The P W R Series is a fully remote-controllable, multiple-output

DC constant-voltage/current power supply. T h e series incor-

porates a L I S T E N E R function, w h i c h allows remote control of

all the functions of the PW Series, and a T A L K E R function,

which allows read-back of all preset conditions and output cur-

rent/voltage values.

Equipped with a computer-controlled measurement system and

numerous programmable functions, the P W R Series is a ver-

satile machine w h i c h is useful for a wide range of applications.

Guidelines on Instruction Manual Usage

The PWR series instruction manual comes in two sets, one

for remote control and the other for the power supply.

This instruction manual is for the former. Refer to the other

manual for the power supply.

Expansion to System-Level Power Supply via

GP-IB Control

T h e P W R can be combined with the GP-IB adapter ( G P - 6 2 0 ,

sold separately) to enable use with automation measurement

s y s t e m s , and is equipped with a L I S T E N E R / T A L K E R function

that enables control of all the unit's functions and enables read-

back of all output voltage/current values. Using ID recognition,

allows construction of high-security s y s t e m s capable of con-

trolling up to four units.

Expansion to Programmable Power Supply via

Computer Control

The P W R can be connected to an external computer to enable

functioning a s a programmable power supply, for use in simu-

lation and other experiments. A system can easily by construct-

ed to enable control of all the m a c h i n e ' s functions, a s well as

read-back of all output voltage/current values.

MASTER Mode Operation

With incorporation of the built-in ONE C O N T R O L function, cen-

tralized control of multiple units is possible. One unit of a given

model can be used a s the M A S T E R to control (under the same

conditions) all the functions of up to four S L A V E units of the

same model.

External Remote Control

T h e P W R c a n be used in combination w i t h the R T - 6 3 Remote

controller (sold separately) to enable remote control of up to

four units for functions such as switching of preset values (out-

put voltage) and ON/OFF switching of output voltage and out-

put protect. In addition, remote control can be effected via the

R T - 6 3 using external contact signals and logic signals.
