Faults
Appliance does not start
Creasing.
Water is leaking out.
The programme does not start Make sure that:
Programme duration displayed
changes as drying progresses.

Cause/Remedy
Check the mains plug and the fuses.
Load exceeded or incorrect programme selected for a type of fabric.

table.~ Page 23
Remove laundry from the drum as soon as the drying programme
has finished. Creasing occurs when clothing is left in the drum.
The appliance may be positioned at an angle. Level the appliance.
In the base unit, make sure that:
– The heat exchanger cover is properly locked.
– There is no dirt or debris on the heat exchanger cover's seal.

If the optional drain hose* is installed, make sure that the drain hose
is correctly connected. ~ Page 44
The door is closed
The E 3sec (Child lock) has been deactivated
You have pressed A (Start/Pause)
Note:
If the programme has been delayed by setting ñ (ready in), the
programme starts at a later point.
If à•‹˜ is shown in the display for five seconds after you switch the
appliance on or off, this means that the appliance is in shop mode.
Switch shop mode off as follows:
Switch the appliance off and on again.

Wait until the à•‹˜ message goes out on the display.

Press and hold A (Start/Pause) for at least five seconds.
‹"" appears in the display and the appliance switches itself off
automatically. Shop mode is now deactivated and you can use the
appliance as normal.
Not a fault. The moisture sensor measures the residual moisture in the
laundry and adjusts the programme duration (with the exception of timed
programmes).
