ASSEMBLING AND PREPARING
Motion sensor lens
Caution in use
Please avoid using the fresnel lens in the following conditions because it may cause failure or
malfunction.
(a) In such a fluid as water, alcohol etc. corrosive gas (SO2,Cl2,NOX etc.) or sea breeze.
(b) In high humidity.
(c) In a place exposed directly to sun light or headlight of automobile.
(d) In a place exposed directly to blow from air-conditioner or heater.
(e) In such a place where infrared ray is shaded.
(f) In any other place similar to the above (a) through (e).
The performance of Motion Energy Saver is maximized to a specific user distance (1m) and angle (20
degrees).
The sensor may not detect you if you are motionless.
If you think that the mode entry message appears too frequently, increase the time setting of the Motion
Energy Saver or turn the mode off.
Avoid using radio equipment such as a walkie-talkie near the product as this may cause a product
malfunction.
The sensor may not detect you, when the monitor is used in portrait mode depending on a specific
user angle.
Notice in handling and storage
1) Optical filter of sensor should not be scratched or soiled.
2) Strong shock should be avoided.
3) High temperature, high humidity, fluid as water or alcohol etc., corrosive gas (SO2,Cl2,NOX etc.) and
sea breeze should be avoided.
