    FILLING THE DETERGENT AND ADDITIVES Always obey the instructions that you find on the packaging of the deter- gent products.     CARE AND CLEANING WARNING! Disconnect the appliance from the mains supply before you clean it. DESCALING The water we use contains limescale. If it becomes necessary, use a water soft- ener to remove limescales. Use a special product made for wash- ing machines.

    DETERGENT DISPENSER To clean the dispenser: DRAIN PUMP Regularly examine the drain pump and make sure that it is clean. Clean the pump if: • The appliance does not drain the wa- ter. • The drum cannot turn. • The appliance makes an unusual noise because of the blockage of the drain pump.
