Installation

1. Push both the red buttons at the same time
and spread the upper and lower frame apart.
Position the carrier on your vehicle. Figure A.
 Sedans and vehicles with trunks – Release
trunk tube from the snap clip by pushing
froward and upward. The arm should be
rotated up until it contacts the upper frame.
Rest the trunk tube on the vehicle and position
the rack so the bicycle support arms angle
slightly upward to the rear. Figure B.
 Minivans, SUVs, and most hatchbacks –
Leave the trunk tube attached to the lower

also tighten the bottom straps. Figure E.
5. Tighten top straps while pushing forward
slightly on the rack. Figure F.
6. Check the arm position – they should angle
upward from the horizontal. Readjust lower and
upper straps if necessary. Tighten all straps one
more time. Figure G.

allows the bicycle
support arms to
angle slightly upward from the rear. On these
vehicles the trunk tube remains clipped in a
lower position out of the way.
2. Attach top straps 'U' to leading metal
edge of trunk or hatch lid. Adjust the straps
so the rack stays in place on the car with
bicycle support arms angled slightly up from
horizontal. Figure C. Check that the carrier
is centered on your vehicle – adjust to center
as needed.
3. Attach lower straps 'L' to the bottom metal
edge of trunk or hatch lid, under the bumper,
or to the frame of the vehicle. Tension slightly.

Tighten the side
