Do a preliminary check before taking photos.
a. The photography ready lamp lights green.
b. The working distance dots appear sharpest.
c. The working distance dots are on the extension line of the WD guides.
d. The split lines form a single line.
Photography ready lamp
• Green: Ready to shoot.
• Red: Preparing to shoot. Wait until the lamp lights green.
• None: Cannot access the Rics NM 2. The retina observation mode is not established.
Flash intensity adjustment
The flash intensity is set to the standard level in advance.
Every time the flash intensity button is pressed the flash
intensity increases by 0.3 stop.
Press the shutter release button.
The image of the retina and the examination information appear on the Rics NM 2 screen.
Check the photographed image.
Check that the image is normal and there are no errors in the examination information.
To take images of the other eye, repeat steps from step 1 of Alignment (see page 25).
