    The HSPA+ 3G Router can be installed quickly and easily almost anywhere. This router is great for situations where an impromptu wireless network must be set up, or wherever conventional network access is unavailable. The DWR-712 can even be installed in buses, trains, or boats, allowing passengers to check e-mail or chat online while commuting.

    Section 3 - Configuration Configuration This section will show you how to configure your new D-Link mobile router using the web-based configuration utility. Web-based Configuration Utility To access the configuration utility, open a web-browser such as Internet Explorer and enter the IP address of the router (192.168.0.1 by default).

    1. Why can’t I access the web-based configuration utility? When entering the IP address of the D-Link router (192.168.0.1 for example), you are not connecting to a website on the Internet or have to be connected to the Internet. The device has the utility built-in to a ROM chip in the device itself. Your computer must be on the same IP subnet to connect to the web-based utility.
