EWF configuration
The EWF status is displayed on the left side of the dialog box. The EWF status
comprises:
Overlay Type (corresponds to the RAM Overlay Mode)
Current EWF status (EWF_DISABLED or EWF_ENABLED)
Pending EWF command
The EWF Enable button enables the write protection for the C:\ partition. To do
so the system is to be rebooted.
The EWF Commit&Disable Live button is used for writing the changes, which
were commited in the system after the last reboot, to the Compact Flash card
(commited) and for cancelling the write protection for the C:\ partition. This ac‐
tion is executed immediately and a reboot is not required.
The write protection is to be cancelled for system settings of the
operating system and for the installation of the user interface.
Enable the EWF again!
To calibrate the touch screen start the "Touchcal" configuration tool via the start
menu Start ▶ Programs ▶ Accessories ▶ Touchcal. The following dialog box
