IP Codec Information Settings - Audio Priority
For each Type, set the codec to use (default = G.711). By default, all IP Phones belong in Type 1.
To change the Type for an IP Phone:
15-05-15 : IP Phone Terminal Basic Data Setup - CODEC Type
For each IP Phone (extension number), select the Type to use (default = 1).
System Tones and Ring Tones:
System IP Phones do not use Program 80-01 : Service Tone Setup entries. The tones are generated
locally by the System IP Phone. When a Door Box chime rings a System IP Phone, the system activates
the chimes using a ring command. Because of this, if the volume is adjusted while the door chime is
sounding, the ringing volume of the System IP Phone will be adjusted.
