UPS5000 Optional BSC Card User Manual 1 Safety Precautions Safety Precautions Only professional technical personnel designated by Huawei are allowed to install and operate the product. High voltage operations and installation of AC-powered facilities must be performed by qualified personnel. -
Page 7: Optional Bsc Card
An optional BSC card enables Huawei's UPS and other vendor's UPS to form a dual-bus system. With the optional BSC card, Huawei UPS can function as a slave device to trace the output phases of other vendor's UPS or the phases of other 80–280 V AC power supplies in real time. -

The customer can also purchase and install these components by themselves. Procedure Step 1 Connect the ground cable for the ESD wrist strap, and put on the ESD wrist strap and ESD gloves. The optional BSC card must be installed in the control module that contains a monitoring interface card.
