The operating functions are described in the Quick References. Handset Using the Blaupunkt handset 7 607 570 512 it is possible to place telephone calls with or without the hands-free function. The system will switch automatically from hands-free to handset operation when the handset is removed from the cradle.
The scope of the guarantee is determined by the laws in the country where the unit was purchased. Regardless of the legal guarantee regula- tions, Blaupunkt affords a 12-month guar- antee. If you have any questions about the guar- antee, please contact your dealer. Your cash register receipt is a valid guarantee coupon.
KeyCard and SIM card KeyCard Basic information One KeyCard is included with the Radio- phone. The car radio can also be operated with a second “trained” KeyCard or with one of up to 30 trainable SIM cards. Using the KeyCard it is possible to activate the following operating modes: Radio, tape deck, CD changer (optional), AUX, telephone emergency call.
KeyCard and SIM card • Press DSC/OK and << / >> to select the language. • Press DSC/OK and CL one after the other. Removing the KeyCard/SIM card Never forcibly pull out the card! You may destroy it. • First push the card in gently towards the unit.
KeyCard and SIM card If you attempt to program a third Key- Card, the KeyCard which was not part of the programming process will auto- matically become invalid. If 30 SIM cards have been pro- grammed, it will be necessary to delete old access authorizations before new cards can be trained.

Traffic programme station reception with RDS-EON The abbreviation “EON” stands for En- hanced Other Networks which means that information is exchanged between the ra- dio stations belonging to the same broad- casting network. Many FM broadcasters provide traffic mes- sages for their service area at regular inter- vals.
Operating the cassette deck The equipment must be switched on. As soon as you insert a cassette, the set will automatically switch to cassette opera- tion. The cassette will not begin to play a) as long as a telephone call is in progress or being placed, or b) as long as a priority traffic announce- ment is playing.

Programming with DSC The car radio is equipped with DSC (Direct Software Control), enabling you to adjust settings and functions to your personal needs and to store these settings. The equipment has been adjusted to default settings at the factory. There is an overview of the factory default settings at the end of this section so that you can reset these settings at any time.

Quick reference for using the telephone ? Anti-theft card protection system In order to be able to operate the tele- phone, you must insert a trained SIM card first. Using a KeyCard, you can place an emergency call only. Using a trained SIM card, it is possible to operate all of the telephone’s availa- ble functions, including the telephone mode.
Using the telephone All of the telephone functions can be oper- ated using a trained SIM card. • With the card tongue protruding, insert the trained SIM card into the slot with the contact surface facing up. • Switch the unit on. If you have not yet trained any SIM cards, refer to the section on “Train or delete Key- Card/SIM card”.

Phone book menu The phone book menu can be used to store, alter, delete and easily retrieve stored tele- phone numbers. The entries are stored in the telephone memory and/or on the SIM card and can be used for speed-dialling. The telephone can store up to 25 entries.
Phone book menu How to enter a name/text Using the keypad you can enter names or texts for various menu items. You cannot make an entry unless a specific request that you do so appears in the dis- play. Names can have a maximum of 16 and texts 160 characters.
