The machine does not switch
on.

Troubleshooting

Cause
The machine is not connected to the
mains power supply.
The cups are cold.
A low temperature has been set.
No powder coffee has been filled.
The nozzle is obstructed.
The machine is heavily calcified.
The brewing unit has stopped in an
incorrect position.
Grind too fine.
SBS is set to the right side.
Cannot dispense
- Descale
- Fill with fresh water
- De-aerate machine
- Fill with coffee beans
- Empty grinds container
(for min. 6 sec. / machine must be turned on)
- Correctly install brewing unit, drip tray and grinds
container, and close door.
- Grinder obstructed.
- Gears obstructed
- Contact an authorised service centre.
- Replace Aqua Prima filter / turn indicator off
(press the hot water button for about 6 sec. until
filter indicator light flashes).

3. OPERATION
Remedy
Turn on main switch.
Check plug and connection.
Pre-heat cups.
Set the machine to a higher
temperature.
Fill powder coffee and start
once again.
Clean nozzle out with
needle.
Dial is closed!
The machine is switched
off!
Descale the machine.
Close doors and switch on
the machine.
The machine performs a re-
positioning.
Set grind to higher level.
Turn knob in clockwise
direction.
Turn SBS knob to the left.
