The Model CAB1-X enclosure from Siemens Industry, Inc., is used to house system
modules. The CAB1-X backbox and doors are black. The CAB1-X consists of an outer
door, an OD-GP vented grill plate, a mounting plate (CAB-MP), and a backbox as
shown in Figure 1.

The backbox is mounted on a flat surface with four user-supplied bolts that are a
maximum of

inch in diameter.

The backbox contains enough space to mount a set of BTX-1 (31 AH) batteries in the
bottom.
Remove the CAB-MP mounting plate from the backbox.

Mark, drill, and install the two bottom bolts in the backbox. If energy limited cable or equivalent is not used within the CAB1-X enclosure, then the following guidelines do not apply. In that case, be sure to follow standard wiring practices.
