Operations and Reference Manual Axsis™ SC-300H Digital Radar Speed Camera NTRODUCTION American Traffic Solutions, Inc. has developed a radar speed camera system utilizin g the latest state-of-the-art digital camera imag ing technolo gy. The Axsis ™ SC-300H digital radar spee d camera system uses a digital camera and hi gh-speed camera technology in conjunction with advanced software logic to capture and photograph vehicles exceeding the speed limit. -

At night, when using a strobe, the camera shutter will cause the top 1/3 of the frame to darken. If the rear plate is in this top 1/3 it will be very difficult or impossible to get a clear plate shot. -

Verify that a ll system plugs and cables are properly connected and then turn on the Axsis™ SC-300H Radar Base Unit. This may be because of multiple veh icles in the beam, changes in the speed of the vehicle as it passes through the beam or other physical reasons that cause the reflected signal to be inconsistent. -

It is not necessary for a vehicle to be in the radar beam for this to trigger. Test Shot Once the Test Shot is complete it will display as an event in your stack. -
