WARNING: Before assembling the Wet/Dry vac make sure that the power
cord is not plugged into a power outlet.
WARNING: Wear heavy duty protective gloves when performing the caster
insertion procedure to prevent cutting or puncturing palm of hand with the
driving end of the screwdriver.

GENERAL ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

1. Verify that the power cord is
disconnected from the outlet. (Fig. 1)
2. Undo the latches and lift the power
head off of the collection tank.
(Fig. 2)
3. Remove the hardware package from
inside the collection tank. (Fig. 3)
4. Place the collection tank upside
down to insert the casters into the
sockets on the bottom. Put on a
pair of heavy duty protective gloves.
Place a screwdriver between the two
wheels on the bottom of the caster
as illustrated. Place hands on each
side of the screwdriver (handle side
and driving side), with the middle of
the screwdriver rod between the two
caster wheels, and press downward.
This distributes the force evenly and
provides extra leverage to insert
caster into position. Support the
collection tank to prevent it from
tipping when pressing in the casters.

5. Insert the handle into the slots
located on the top of the power
head (Fig. 5)
6. Align the power head clasps with the
catches on the collection tank. Snap
power head into place by applying
pressure until the clasps click over
the catches. (Fig. 6)
7. Insert the large end of the hose into
the vacuum port on the front of the
collection tank.
8. Choose the desired accessory and
insert onto the end of the hose.
(Fig. 8)
9. After vac use, store hose,
accessories and cord as illustrated
on page 12.
Note that a static discharge chain is
attached to the bottom of the tank. It
is normal for this chain to drag on the
ground. Operating the vacuum in dry
conditions can build up static, and the
chain helps dissipate any build-up by
allowing a path of least resistance for
the static to discharge to the ground.
