1. Turn on your PS4

system or PS3

Touch the power button.

2. Charge the headset

Charge the headset by connecting it to a USB port with a USB

The example shown is not representative of an actual screen. "PlayStation", "PLAYSTATION" and the "PS"

cable. The headset may need up to 3.5 hours to charge fully.

Headset Companion App

The free Headset Companion app allows you to

download a new audio mode to your headset. The app is

available from PlayStation

You can create your own audio mode with the

system

3. Insert the wireless adaptor

customization tool, or select from preset modes which

have been specially designed to deliver an optimal audio

experience.

Insert the wireless adaptor into the USB port.

4. Turn on the headset

* Sony Entertainment Network Account account and Internet

service required.

Slide the power / audio mode switch to position "1" or "2".

SOUND/CHAT buttons

Adjust the chat voice volume in relation

to the game sound.

Microphone

Faceplates

Faceplates are removable and customizable.

Power/audio mode switch

Sets audio mode or turns off headset.

Positions:

OFF - turns off the headset.

1 - sets the headset to standard mode.

2 - sets the headset to bass boost mode.

This mode can be replaced with audio modes

from the Headset Companion app.

Rear

VSS (Virtual Surround Sound) button

The Virtual Surround Sound effect is on by default.

VOL + / – buttons

MUTE button

• Press to switch microphone MUTE on and off.

• To engage the sidetone feature, hold down the

MUTE button until a beep is heard. Then choose

the sidetone volume (high, medium, off)

by pressing the MUTE button.

USB port

Connect to a supported USB

Bottom

device to charge the headset.

(A micro USB cable is included.)

Audio input jack

Use the included audio cable to connect

the headset with mobile devices.
