    Batteries must not be changed in an explosive gas atmosphere.  If IS Battery Pack, Honeywell 50047517-001, has been installed in the Wireless Transmitter, the transmitter enclosure maybe opened when an explosive gas atmosphere is present. Otherwise, do not open transmitter enclosure when and explosive gas atmosphere is present.

    POTENTIAL ELECTROSTATIC CHARGING HAZARD The integrally mounted antenna shroud is made of Teflon® and has a surface resistance greater than 1Gohm per square. When the XYR 6000 transmitter is installed in potentially hazardous locations care should be taken not to electrostatically charge the surface of the antenna shroud by rubbing the surface with a cloth, or cleaning the surface with a solvent.
