Caution:
Enter 7 and restart the switch. The switch reboots without reading the default-configuration file. The
default-configuration is set as configuration beforehand that changes the defaults about several functions to
recommended value. When you save the running configuration without reading the current configuration file,
the recommended set value isn't reflected. After you put in the factory shipment state and recommended
Return setting of equipment, and preserved a configuration file in storage media for a backup, it's
recommended to do necessary setting again.
7.1.2 Super password loss
When losing a super password, following procedure, the device can be started without
entering the password.
1)
Enter at the Boot ROM menu
Authentication is required for console login.
Are you sure you want to skip the authentication for console login? (Y/N):

Enter Y at the prompt.
Are you sure you want to skip the authentication for console login? (Y/N):Y

Enter 0 at the prompt. The switch reboots with empty configuration, and you can use
super commands without entering the password. By need use super password
commands to set super password again

7.1.3 Way of load failure of the next-startup configuration file
Perform the following task, when failing in a load of the next startup configuration file.
I. Please confirm whether the next startup configuration file is set.

Execute dir commands in user view to verify the next-startup configuration file at
Flash.
