This keyboard has a rechargeable internal battery which is non-removable. Make sure the keyboard is fully charged before using it for the first time. Use only Samsung-approved chargers. Unauthorised or Non-Samsung chargers could cause damage to the device or in extreme circumstances an explosion, it could also invalidate any warranty on the product. -

• Repeatedly charging and discharging of the keyboard, over time will cause the battery performance to diminish. This is normal for all rechargeable batteries. • To save energy, unplug the travel adapter when not in use. The travel adapter does not have a power switch, so you must unplug it from the outlet when not in use to avoid wasting power. -

Using your keyboard This section explains how to turn the keyboard on or off, pair and connect the keyboard to the other bluetooth devices, and use various functions. • Some devices, especially those that are not tested or approved by the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG), may be incompatible with your keyboard. -

Turning the keyboard on or off To turn the keyboard on Slide the Power switch on (red background covered), the blue indicator flashes 4 times. • Turning the keyboard on for the first time, it will automatically enter pairing mode for approximately 3 minutes. - Page 12 Activate the Bluetooth feature on your phone or tablet and search for the keyboard in order to pair with each other (see your phone or tablet’s user manual). Select the keyboard (Samsung Bluetooth Keyboard BKB-A) from the list of devices found by your phone or tablet.

Key functions Before using the keyboard, you should set the language to be used. For details how to set a language, refer to your phone or tablet’s user manual. 10 11 • The functionality of some keys will depend on the software version installed on your phone or tablet. - Page 15 Return to the previous screen. Return to the idle screen. Open the list of recent applications. Launch the Web browser. Launch the Mail account. Turn the screen on or off. Set the brightness of the display. Adjust the device’s volume. While playing media files, Pause or resume a video, music files, or slideshows.
