    Preparations Speakers Connection Front Speakers Connect to the SPEAKERS (FRONT) terminals, right speaker to "R" and left speaker to "L". Colored (marked) wire to "+" and black (unmarked) wire to "-". G Clip the stripped portion of the speaker wire as shown.

    Dolby ProLogic Surround Sound provides the current industry standard for home cinema sound from VCR and TV broadcasts. The front left and right speakers deliver detailed, directional sound as the center speaker "steers" dialogue/ vocal sound and center screen action toward the TV screen.

    Cleaning the disc lens G After prolonged use, dirt or dust may accumulate at the disc lens. To ensure good playback quality, clean the disc lens with Philips CD Lens Cleaner or any commercially available cleaner. Follow the instructions supplied with cleaner.

    Troubleshooting TAPE OPERATION/RECORDING Recording or playback cannot be made. The tape deck door cannot open. Recorded material sounds strange. GENERAL The system does not react when buttons are pressed. Sound cannot be heard or poor quality. The left and right sound outputs are reversed.
