Be sure extension cords are properly wired and in good condition. Always replace a damaged extension
cord or have it repaired by a qualified technician before using it. Protect extension cords from sharp objects,
excessive heat, and damp or wet areas.
Use a separate electrical circuit for power tools. This circuit must not be less than #14 wire with a 15 Amp
timedelayed fuse, and should be protected with a timedelayed fuse. Before connecting the tool to the power
line, make sure the switch is in the OFF position and the electric current is rated the same as the current
stamped on the motor's nameplate. Running at a lower voltage will damage the motor.
WARNING:
To avoid electrical hazards, fire hazards, or damage to the tool, use proper circuit
protection.
WARNING:
Keep the extension cord clear of the working area. Positon the cord so that it will not get
caught on lumber, tools, or other obstructions while you are working with a power tool.
Failure to do so can result in serious personal injury.
WARNING:
Check extension cords before each use. If damaged, replace immediately. Never use tool
with a damaged cord since touching the damaged area could cause electrical shock
resulting in serious injury.
