Temperature selection button
freezer compartment
The button sets the temperature in
the freezer compartment.
The freezer compartment temperature
can be set from -24 °C to -16 °C.

The numbers correspond to the set
freezer compartment temperatures
in °C.
Warning signal
Door warning signal
A long term warning signal sounds if the
appliance door is left open for longer than
one minute.
Close the door to switch off the warning
signal.
Temperature warning
The temperature warning signal switches
on if the freezer compartment is too
warm.
Alarm button
illuminates
flashes

Explanation
Temperature warning:
Frozen food is not at
risk of thawing.
Thaw warning: Frozen
food is or has been at
risk of thawing.
Thaw warning
If taste, odour and appearance have not
changed, the food can be boiled or fried
and then refrozen.
No longer store the frozen produce for
the max. storage period.
Temperature warning
The warning signal may switch on without
any risk to the frozen food:
S When the appliance is switched on.
S When large quantities of fresh food are
placed in the appliance.
S If the freezer compartment door is open
too long.
Switching off the warning signal

If the alarm button 1 is pressed,
the warning signal switches off and
the display is reset to standby.
Switching on the
appliance
Press the On/Off button Fig. 1/2.
Warning signal is emitted. To stop the
warning signal, press the Alarm button.
The Alarm button remains lit until the set
temperature has been reached.
Selecting the temperature
Keep pressing the temperature selection
button for the refrigerator compartment
or compartment until the required tem
perature lamp is lit.
