For multiple flash photography, use the optional
Sy n ch r o Cor d A and a s lav e u ni t a v a i la bl e on t h e
market.
All of the flash units including the 299T must be
used on manual. The proper aperture can be cal-
culated using the guide number formula (see p.
2 4 ) b a s e d o n a n o v e r a l l g u i d e n u m b e r f o u n d
with the following equation.

w i t h a h i g h - v o l t a g e t r i g g e r c i r c u i t w i t h t h e
2 9 9 T , t h e r e i s a p o s s i b i l i t y t h a t t h e 2 9 9 T w i l l
not f ire and that the synchronization contacts
of the camera will be damaged when shooting.
Therefore do not use other maker's flashes. For
t h e s a m e r e a s o n , m u l t i p l e f l a s h p h o t o g r a p h y
with wired equipment is not recommended.
