Do not clean in the self-cleaningoven.
MicrowaveOven Lamp
To replace the microwaveoven lamp, first
disconnectthe power at the main fuse or the
circuit breaker panel.
1. Removethe grill abovethe microwaveoven,To
do so, openthe microwaveovendoor,then remove
the 2 screwsfromthe bottomof the grill.
2. Removethe lightcoverby removingthe 2 screws.
3. Removethe tape aroundthe base of the light.The
tape is thereto preventthe lightfrom loosening
duringshipmentand doorclosings.Removingthe
tape mightbe difficult.
4. Unscrewthe bulb carefully.Use a clothto protect
yourhandsin case the glassbreaks.
NOTE: The lightis not'standard.Replaceit with a
similar 125-volt, 2 0-wattbulb,whichis available
from yourGE supplier.
5. Screwthe replacementbulb into the socketand
replacethe lightcoverand grill.Reconnectthe
powerto the cookingcenter.
Oven Heating Elemenh
Do not clean the bake element or the broil element.
Any soilwillburn off whenthe elementsare heated.
The bakeelementcan be lifted gentlyto cleanthe
BroilElement
ovenfloor.If spillovers,residue-ora~haccumulate
BakeElement
aroundthe bakeelementgentlywipe aroundthe
elementwith warmwater.
