Entering a TAP Pager Number

After setting pager mode to TAP, tab to the "Modify Pager Settings" field and then

press Enter. The TAP Pager Settings dialog box appears:

Pager Phone Number Enter the service provider's TAP pager phone number.

(TAP pagers require only a phone number for the service. There is no need to

enter confirmation codes or commas.)

Pager ID The Pager ID or Personal Identification Number (PIN) is a number

assigned to each pager. Many service providers use a numeric pager number as

the Pager ID. The following example is typical:

Pager ID:

NOTE

Your service provider may also assign you a numeric pager

number depending on the pager service you use. Do not add

the area code in the Pager ID if your provider uses the numeric

pager number as the Pager ID.

TAP Password Enter the TAP password if required by your service provider.
