You can only play a DVD
movie from a DVD-ROM
drive. When you finish
watching a movie, store
the DVD disc in its
protective case.
Tip
You can control the actions of
the DVD player (pause, rewind,
and so on.) from the CD/DVD
control buttons on the
keyboard.

Playing a DVD-ROM Movie
1. For best performance, close all running programs before
inserting a DVD movie. Insert the DVD disc into the
DVD-ROM drive. Playback begins automatically.
2. If playback does not begin automatically, click the Start
button on the Windows taskbar.
3. Point to Programs, and then Compaq DVD Express 1.
(For the WinDVD player 2 [lower picture], point to Compaq
WinDVD.)
4. Choose Compaq DVD Player 1 (select DVD Player if you
have WinDVD 2) and then click the Play
