Select Public under the Accepted community names. This community should have
READ WRITE or READ CREATE rights. To modify the rights, click Edit when the
public community is highlighted. You can then modify the Community Rights for
public.

Select either the Accept SNMP packets from any host or Accept SNMP packets
from these hosts radio button. If you choose the latter, you must supply the SNMP
Service with the resolvable host names or the IP addresses of those Magnia Servers
that will be sending Agent SNMP packets to this machine.
Install IIS
To install IIS, follow the procedure specific to each OS.
If the Management Proxy is to be used on a Magnia Server running the Microsoft
Windows NT Server Operating System, you must install IIS 4.0 using an Option Pack.
For details, refer to the applicable OS manual.

SNMP Settings for the Agent Software

Install the SNMP Service on the Magnia Server selected to function as a
Management Proxy.

Open the SNMP Service Properties dialog box.

Click the Traps tab.

Make sure that the Community name is the same as the Community name on the
HEW Management Proxy that this Agent will be reporting to.
