    DETACHABLE FRONT PANEL The front panel is designed to be removable for antitheft purposes. It is recommended that you remove and carry the front panel with you when you leave your car. HOW TO ATTACH THE FRONT PANEL Align the right side of the panel (A) with the stopper (B), and then push the left side of the panel into the unit until it clicks.

    GENERAL OPERATION 6 10 8 TURNING THE POWER ON......Any button Install the front panel and press any button (except REL and button) when ACC is on. TURNING THE POWER OFF .......….. 1 When system is on, press the POWER button 1 to turn off the unit. VOLUME LEVEL CONTROL........2 Rotate the VOL dial 2 to adjust the volume level.

    RADIO OPERATION SWITCHING TO RADIO MODE…………………….…1 Press SOURCE button 1 to select radio mode, the radio mode appears in the display together with the memory band and frequency.     CD OPERATION LOADING AND EJECTING THE CD…………………1,8 Insert a disc into the CD slot 1 and the CD player will start. The system remains in CD mode and “ ” appears in the display. Press the eject button 8 to eject a disc. SWITCHING TO CD MODE......…..2 Press the SOURCE button 2 with the power on to switch from radio mode or AUX mode to CD mode.

    Notes • During playback of a CD, the CD running indicator spins. • The unit will turn-on automatically when a CD is inserted if the ignition switch is “ON”. REPEAT MODE ............6 Press the RPT button 6 to play the current track repeatedly. To cancel this mode, press the RPT button 6 again.

    MP3 OPERATION 4 15 11 12 13 14 LOADING AND EJECTING THE MP3…………….…...1,8 Insert a disc into the disc slot 1 and the player will start. The system remains in MP3 mode and “ ” appears in the display. Press the eject button 8 to stop MP3 function and eject the disc form disc slot 1. SWITCHING TO CD (MP3) MODE......…..2 Press the SOURCE button 2 with the power on to switch from radio mode or AUX mode to CD (MP3) mode.

    SEARCHING DIRECTORY OR FILE NAME..……...3,4,5,15 Press the AS/PS/MP3 button 3 for two times. It enters into “Searching Directory or File Name” in Digital Audio CD. The unit searches files and directories by name which is designated by the user with the VOL A-Z /0-9 dial 4. Explain as follows: Use rotary encoder VOL A-Z/0-9 dial 4 to select the characters A to Z, blank, 0 to 9, _, -, +.

    MIXED-CD OPERATION This unit can play the mixed-CD disc (the disc contains both CD audio tracks and MP3 files). When you insert a mixed-CD disc into the CD slot, the “ ” appears in the display and it starts to play the CD audio tracks. And the operation is the same as that of the CD operation described in page 10.

    AUX MODE OPERATION SWITCHING TO AUX MODE........1 The unit has a pair of auxiliary input terminals (see WIRING figure on page 21). This allows you to listen to an auxiliary audio source (MP3, portable cassette player, etc). Press the SOURCE button 1 with the power on to switch from radio mode or CD (MP3) mode to AUX mode.
