Connect to the camera wirelessly at home, or through the Internet when you are at work, so you can check on your infant no matter where you are. You can even take the DCS-700L with you when you travel with your baby. All you need is a mobile device to connect directly to the Wi-Fi Baby Monitor. -

A solid blue light indicates a connection to the mydlink server. A blinking blue light means Direct Connect is enabled. Wireless Installation Considerations This D-Link camera can connect to your wireless network from anywhere within the operating range of your wireless network. However, the number, thickness, and location of walls, ceilings, or other objects that the wireless signals must pass through may limit the range. Typical ranges vary depending on the types of materials and background RF (radio frequency) noise in your home or business. -

During the initial steps with the Setup Wizard, you configured the camera to connect to your home Wi-Fi network. If you want to take your camera with you, it's not a problem with the DCS-700L.* You can connect directly to your camera, which means there is no need for an Internet connection or a router. - Page 29 Note: When you finish using Direct Connect, press and hold the Direct Connect button on the back of the camera for at least five seconds to turn off Direct Connect mode.
