The Audiologist may have put a RED marker on your RIGHT hearing aid
and a BLUE marker on your LEFT hearing aid.
Each hearing aid battery should last at least 7 days. The hearing aid will
beep during the last hour of battery life.
Changing the battery
Pull open the battery compartment at the bottom.
Throw the old battery away. Remove the sticky
label from the new battery, and put the battery in
with the flat side (with a small cross on it) facing
upwards. If the battery compartment sticks when
you try to shut it, check that you have the battery
in the right way round. The hearing aid will not
work if the battery is upside down.
Hearing aid batteries contain dangerous chemicals. Do not use them in
other equipment. Never throw them into a fire or try to recharge them.
Keep them away from small children. If swallowed, see a doctor.
