    SET-UP Be sure to use appropriate protective gear and unplug unit. WARNING: Make sure area is well ventilated and free of flammable vapors. WARNING: SELECTING THE PROPER SPRAY NOZZLE - (FIGURES B AND B1) The sprayer includes two standard nozzles that are colored coded for ease of identification.

    LIQUID MATERIAL PREPARATION - (FIGURES E, E1) TIP: Make sure the type of material you use can be cleaned with either mineral spirits or paint thinner (for oil-based paints) or a warm water and soap solution (for water soluble paints like latex). Use drop cloths during pouring, mixing, and viscosity testing of materials to be sprayed to protect your floors and...

    FLOW CONTROL SETTINGS FLOW CONTROL KNOB - (FIGURE G) The flow control knob regulates the amount of liquid that can be sprayed. • Select low (1), medium (5) or high (9) on the flow control knob. TIP: Always test the spray pattern on scrap cardboard or similar material first.

    • Maintain smooth and consistent speed which will help avoid inconsistencies. Begin spraying after the pass has begun and release trigger before stopping the pass. • Avoid spraying too heavily in any one area. Several lighter coats are better than one heavy coat which can lead to running and dripping.
  • Page 11 • Unscrew the lid from the side of the canister and properly dispose of cleaning solution. • Refill the canister with a small amount of new cleaning solution (figure K1). Screw lid securely on canister. • Plug in the cord and spray the cleaning solution through the sprayer onto scrap material for 5 seconds (figure K2).

    • Clean the spray nozzle, pickup tube and filter, atomizer, piston and spring with the cleaning brush in the appropriate cleaning solution (figure K8). • Thoroughly clean the inside of the piston chamber with the cleaning brush (figure K9). IMPORTANT: Be sure to remove all material from inside of piston chamber.

    • Pour obtenir une pulvérisation uniforme, toujours maintenir le bras à la même distance (figure I) de la surface à pulvériser. Éviter de bouger le poignet (figure I1). • Maintenir une vitesse constante et régulière pour produire une couche uniforme. Commencer la pulvérisation après le début du déplacement et relâcher la détente avant la fin de la pulvérisation de la bande.

    • Nettoyer la buse de pulvérisation, le tube dʼaspiration et le filtre, lʼatomiseur, le piston et le ressort au moyen de la brosse de nettoyage et dʼune solution de nettoyage adéquate (figure K8). • Bien nettoyer lʼintérieur du barillet de pompe avec la brosse de nettoyage (figure K9).

    • Utiliser lʼhuile de graissage fournie et verser quelques gouttes dʼhuile dans les orifices dʼadmission et de sortie du pulvérisateur comme le montre la figure L4. • Insérer le tube dʼaspiration dans lʼorifice dʼadmission du pulvérisateur (figure L5). • Visser de nouveau la cartouche sur le pulvérisateur (figure L6) en sʼassurant que les languettes de la cartouche sʼalignent sur celles de la bague filetée.

    • Para lograr una distribución uniforme de la pulverización, siempre mantenga su brazo a la misma distancia (Figura I) de la superficie que pulveriza y evite mover su muñeca (Figura I1). • Mantenga una velocidad suave y constante que le ayudará a evitar inconsistencias. Comience a pulverizar después de iniciar la pasada y suelte el gatillo antes de terminar la pasada.
