THE QUICK GUIDE FOR MAKING A COMPUSERVE CONNECTION WITH

THE NOKIA 9110 COMMUNICATOR

CompuServe is a widely used Internet access and service provider. This is a Quick Guide on how to make an

Internet connection with the Nokia 9110 Communicator via CompuServe. Notice: a CompuServe Internet

account is needed for CompuServe access. For further information about Internet access from the Nokia

9110 Communicator, see the Nokia 9110 Communicator User' s Guide.

Please refer to the Communicator User's manual for instructions on operation, care and maintenance, including

important safety information.

Procedure for configuring the CompuServe connection

First, select the Internet application. Then, select Settings from the Internet application. After that, select

the Internet Access and Change button from the Settings menu. Press the New button.

The following information must be entered:

Provider name: CompuServe

Phone number: local CompuServe number provided by CompuServe

Nothing else is needed.

Procedure for filling in the Compuserve's mail settings on the Nokia 9110 Communicator You can use the POP3 server for the mail settings. Usually the domain name for CompuServe is csi.com. The settings are provided by the CompuServe provider.
