  • Page 15 Make sure that the power plug is clean when you insert it into the device or into the AC source. A fire or an electric shock can be caused by dust or incomplete connection. Do not insert any foreign objects into the device or the ventilation slots.

  • Page 17 Make sure that you have either a NIF in, or dummy panel installed over, an option slot. If not, air may not circulate correctly inside the router. For the installation of a network interface board, use a screw driver when fastening screws and make sure that the screws are fixed firmly, but do not overtighten.

    GR2000-B. The installation of the GR2000-B, from deciding on a system configuration to running a system, should be done by the customer. However, Hitachi offers installation services, system setup, and field technical assistance at additional charge.
