    L network. ORKS Using Honeywell's XILON Handheld Tool for Wiring Checks (henceforth referred to simply as "XILON"), these tasks can be easily performed by a single individual with no knowledge of L and no experience with tools like LonMaker for ORKS Windows™.
  • Page 6: Quick Reference For When You're In A Hurry

    XILON's database automatically, and such functions as "I/O Functions" and "All Automatic" can then be utilized, as desired. Honeywell I/O Functions Pressing the key while the "I/O Functions" item has the focus enables you to perform wiring checks on Distributed I/O modules and/or Excel Smart I/O modules.

    This User Guide addresses itself to panel builders and technicians who are responsible for checking and changing the wiring of input/output modules (e.g. Honeywell's Distributed I/O modules and Excel Smart I/O modules) installed on a network and who may also need to manually override and check the ORKS operation of the field devices connected to them.

  • Page 9 XILON HANDHELD TOOL - USER GUIDE Features Located on Top of Device The following features are located on the top of the device (from left to right): Power Supply Jack The power supply unit and attached cable (included in the shipment) can be inserted into the power supply jack to provide electrical power from any standard EURO power supply socket with a primary voltage of from 100 Vac to 240 Vac.

    The LCD display consists of a 64 x 128 pixel display. The contrast is adjusted using the contrast control screw (see below). Focus Before an item can be selected, it must have the focus.
