Engage the connector of the switch housing assembly with the motor connector (Figure 4). The two connectors are keyed and color-coded and must be mated correctly (color-to-color) before they can be engaged.

MOTOR COUPLING SETSCREW WARNING HAIRPIN CLEVIS PIN CLIP It is critical that the clevis pin in the motor coupling is properly installed and the setscrews securely tightened.
4. How to Hang Your Ceiling Fan WARNING CEILING The fan must be hung with at least 7' of clearance from floor to blades (Figure 11). AT LEAST WARNING FLOOR The outlet box and joist must be securely mounted and Figure 10 capable of supporting at least 50 lbs.
