RROR CODE DISPLAY MODE
Error code can be checked on the display of remote controller while
the left/upper operation indicator lamp on the indoor unit is blinking.
Follow the procedure below to check the error code.
An example of error code (00)

Error code display
• The remote controller is powered OFF.
• Get close to the front of the indoor unit, point the remote
controller at the receiving section of the indoor unit, and
keep pressing CHECK with a fine-tipped object.
• "00" will be shown in the display.
• Keep pointing the remote controller at the receiving
section of the indoor unit until the indoor unit beeps.
• If the indoor unit does not beep, get closer to the in-
door unit and keep pressing CHECK again.
• If the indoor unit still does not beep, turn off the power
of appliance such as fluorescent lamp and TV which
might cause noise, then try again. (If the battery re-
placement indicator lights up, replace the batteries
with new ones.)
• When the display of the remote controller shows "00"
and the indoor unit beeps 2 times, it means the unit
has no error.
• When the display of the remote controller shows "00" and
the indoor unit beeps 1 time, it means the unit has an er-
ror. Follow the procedure below and diagnose the error.

Check the error codes 1 by 1 to send the signal.
The indoor unit beeps 2 times
: The unit has the error corresponding to the
error code. Refer to the error code table and
confirm the abnormal point.
The indoor unit beeps 1 time
: The unit has no error. Repeat checking.
The indoor unit does not beep
: The diagnosis gets a fail. Try again.
• When the unit has an error, the air conditioner
needs to be inspected and repaired. Stop us-
ing the air conditioner, turn off the breaker and
contact your dealer.
Note:
Pressing other buttons than
error code display mode of the remote controller.
If the remote controller is operated while the operation
indicator lamp is not blinking, the accurate error code
might not be shown.
