GENERAL SAFETY
3 Familiarise yourself with this products application and limitations, as well as any specific potential hazards peculiar to the beacon.
3 Replace or repair damaged parts. Use recommended parts only. Non authorised parts may be dangerous and will invalidate the warranty.
7 DO NOT use the beacon for any purpose other than for which it is designed.
7 DO NOT allow children to operate the beacon.
7 DO NOT operate the beacon if any parts are missing or damaged as this may cause failure or possible personal injury.
3 When not in use switch the beacon off and where appropriate remove plug from from power supply.

3 . INTRODUCTION & ASSEMBLY
Sealey rotating beacons are designed to meet the strictest European standards. European, British, and local laws must be observed when
using the beacon. All rotating beacons must be installed at the highest point of the vehicle, be perfectly vertical and be visible from all angles.
If a beacon is blocked from view, another beacon must be installed.
ROTATING BEACON FIXING INSTRUCTIONS:
RB951:
Single 12mm Bolt Fixing Base (12 or 24 volt) see fig.1. In accordance with ISO 4148 standard form C:
1.
Drill a 13mm round mounting hole in a suitable point on the vehicle.
2.
Connect cables with 6.3mm flat terminals and check polarities.
Use cables of at least 2mm² section and an 8 amp fuse.
3.
Fix the beacon by using nuts and washers according to the type and shape of the mounting surface.
RB952:
Three Bolt Fixing Base (12 or 24 volt) see fig.2. In accordance with ISO 4148
(DIN 14620) standard form B1:
1.
Drill mounting holes using the beacon base as a template (3 holes of 6.5mm diameter
at 120° on a 130mm diameter circumference).
2.
Connect cables with 6.3mm flat terminals and check polarities.
3.
Fix the beacon with 3 x M6 screws. (Not supplied).
RB953:
Spigot Base (12 or 24 volt) see fig 3. In accordance with ISO 4148 (DIN 14620) standard form A.
1.
Place a suitable adapter socket onto the vehicle. Make sure it is perfectly vertical.
2.
Connect cables with 6.3mm flat terminals and check polarities. Use cables of at least
2mm² section and an 8 amp fuse.
3.
Place the beacon down fully onto the adapter socket and secure it by tightening the wing nut.
4.
When the beacon is removed, always close the adapter socket outlet using the rubber cap.
