Before installation, read the user manual carefully to get familiar with product information and
safety precautions, The 2.4 MW PowerPOD is used as an example to describe the installation and
commissioning.

Installation Preparations
1. Remove the fasteners that secure the base to the transportation vehicle based on the site
requirements.
2. Determine the position for installing the PowerPOD on the floor based on the mounting holes
on the platform base. Drill holes and install expansion sleeves.

Hoisting on the First Floor
1. Adjust the PowerPOD in the installation direction, connect the steel hoisting ropes, and
hoist the PowerPOD at the entrance of the unloading area.
2. When unloading the PowerPOD, use a crane to
hoist one end of the PowerPOD into the room to
place it on the moving dolly at the entrance of
the unloading area, and place the other end on
the wood sleeper. Use a crane to lift the
PowerPOD end placed on the wood sleeper, and
use an electric winch to slowly push the
PowerPOD into the room.
3. After the winch pulls the PowerPOD into the
room, place the moving dolly at the rear of the

Hoisting on a Higher Floor
1. Place the PowerPOD on the hoisting platform and bind it.
2. Adjust the prefabricated PowerPOD in
the installation direction, connect the
steel hoisting ropes, and hoist the

3. Connect the steel hoisting ropes to the
rectangular hoisting tool.

Conduct trail hosting. Lift the hook by about 200 mm under the command of the crane
operator and keep it for 5 minutes. Check the status of the crane, legs, and steel ropes.
If any exception is found, put down the PowerPOD immediately and rectify the fault
until the potential risk is eliminated.

Lift the PowerPOD to the hoisting hatch, place the front part of the hoisting platform
indoors, and secure the hoisting platform using two manual hoists.
6. Untie the steel ropes, use jacks to support the PowerPOD, and place eight moving dollies
underneath.
7. Use a pallet truck to pull the PowerPOD out of the hoisting platform and move the
PowerPOD to the installation position.
