    Disassembly If you have previously applied power to the system, make sure to turn off the power and unplug the power cord before opening the housing and installing or removing any system component. Removing the Front Panel The system housing has a security lock on the front panel. Use the system key to unlock the housing before proceeding with the disassembly.

    Installing a System Board Observe the ESD precautions in section 4.1. The housing accepts ATX system boards. Follow these steps to install a system board. Position the housing such that the right side lies flat. Align the board with the pegs on the housing frame. Gently press the board until it is properly seated.
  • Page 13 Installing a CPU Board When installing a CPU board into the housing, make sure that you have already installed the CPU module on the board. For information on CPU module installation, refer to the board user’s guide. IDT Housing...
  • Page 14 Align the CPU board golden fingers with the exclusive connector on the system board. Refer to your system board user’s guide for the location of the connector.
