    1.1.1 Basic Maintenance Requirements Requirements on maintenance personnel The personnel who are responsible for installing and maintaining Huawei devices must be strictly trained to get familiar with the proper operation methods and safety precautions before device installation, operation, or maintenance.

    If faults persist, contact Huawei technical support engineers. Immediately power off the device and contact Huawei technical support engineers for solutions when the following problems occur: – The device is exposed to the rain or other liquid enters the device.

    Assume that the PUMP switch and other EDFA configurations are normal, and the end face of the optical power meter is clean when the preceding fault occurs.
