    BEFORE YOU BEGIN Allow one day for assembly of the vault and one day to install the wine racks. At least four people are required to assemble the wine vault. Refer to the Pre-Installation Checklist to be sure that all installation location conditions and requirements have been considered and, if needed, corrected.

    ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS A 120V, 60 Hz, 30-amp dedicated power supply is required. A dedicated 30-amp branch circuit must be properly grounded and protected by a time-delay fuse. Wiring for the cooling unit, lights and touch screen computer is routed through a single power source with a NEMA L5-30P twist-lock plug that must mate with the NEMA L5-30R electrical receptacle.

    INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS ASSEMBLE WALL AND CEILING PANELS About the Locking Latches The wine vault wall and ceiling panels connect together using an innovative latch built into the top and right side of the panels. To join the panels, insert the 5/16" hex key into the access holes. Turn the hex key clockwise approximately 7/8 of a turn to lock the connector.

Check the door opening on the door panel assembly to be sure it will fit. Slight manufacturing variations may cause an uneven door fit.

There should be no gaps between the panels, along the base channels, or at the top. Open and close the door. Check to be sure that the door sweep does not bind and that there is nothing to prevent the door from closing securely, such as customer-installed interior flooring.

  • Page 22 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS INSTALL THE COOLING UNIT Apply Foam Insulation Tape Step 1: Locate the four pre-cut pieces of black foam insulation tape. There are two long pieces and two short pieces. Step 2: Remove the backing paper from the long pieces of tape and attach them to the top and bottom of the cooling unit.

  • Page 24 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS CONDENSATE EVAPORATOR AUTO POWER POWER SWITCH The Power Switch is the ON/OFF switch for the cooling system. When first turning the unit on, there is a safety delay of 5 minutes. A red LED light beside WINE will light up to indicate that start-up has been initiated and that that the thermostat is reading the liquid temperature.
  • Page 25 OPERATING THE COOLING SYSTEM The unit is set to 55°F at the factory. The temperature of wine caves in Europe is typically 55° F, the temperature wine collectors strive to match. Pressing the SET button will display the set temperature. To increase or decrease the set temperature, press and hold the SET button while pressing the UP arrow or DOWN arrow until the desired temperature is displayed.
