    II T ’ CENE OUCH CREEN UIDE YTEMODE YSTEM VERVIEW Lytemode System Overview The Lytemode System is designed to control architectural lighting by distributing both power and intelligence. The system provides processing power and control at each respective Master or Remote Station, eliminating the need for a central processor.

    II T II T ’ CENE OUCH CREEN VERVIEW CENE OUCH CREEN UIDE LyteScene II Touch Screen Overview The LyteScene II Touch Screen Master Station provides a simple-to-use graphical interface for controlling Lytemode System (ILS) Lighting Control Networks. The color touch screen mimics the layout of any selected Lytemode Master or Remote Station.

    II T ’ CENE OUCH CREEN UIDE NSTALLATION Installation The LyteScene II Touch Screen is available in two mounting configurations: wall-mount, surface or flush (ILSCLTSII) and rack-mount (ILSCLTSIIRM). Refer to appropriate installation method below. The Lytemode ILS Network consists of a single CAT5e cable connecting all ILS devices in a daisy chain manner.

    II T ’ NSTALLATION CENE OUCH CREEN UIDE ILSCLTSIIRM (Rack Mount) To install rack-mount unit: Step 1. Unpack ILSCLTSIIRM Touch Screen and inspect for any signs of shipping damage. Step 2. Connect ILS network cable to Touch Screen ILS connector (Figure 2). Step 3.

    II T ’ ETUP CENE OUCH CREEN UIDE Password Protection Password protection can be set for various touch screen functions, such as returning from screen saver, selecting scenes, adjusting levels, configuring masters, etc. (The default setting is no passwords.) To configure passwords: Step 1.

    II T ’ ONTROLLING A ASTER CENE OUCH CREEN UIDE Controlling a Master When properly installed, the LyteScene II Touch Screen will recognize and display icons for each of the controllable Master or Remote devices on the ILS network. Master/Remote functions such as storing scenes, fader levels and fade rates can all be controlled by touch screen commands.

    II T ’ CENE OUCH CREEN UIDE ONTROLLING A ASTER Storing a Scene Up to 13 Scenes can be “stored” (set in memory) using the ON and A-L buttons. After a Scene has been stored, it can be recalled by pressing the corresponding Scene button. Before a Scene is stored, the length of the fade must be set (fade rate).

    II T ’ ONTROLLING A ASTER CENE OUCH CREEN UIDE Recalling a Scene Pressing any of the Scene buttons (including ON) will cause the lights to fade to the stored levels. The Scene button will blink during the fade rate. Once the fade is complete, the button will remain lit to indicate the currently selected scene.

Naming a Master A Master can be named for easier identification in the touch screen environment. To name a Master: Step 1.

When Scene A is finished, Scene B will start and so on, fading at the specified rate for each Scene. Auto Cycle can be specified for Scenes ON-D and/or Scenes E-L.

    II T ’ CENE OUCH CREEN UIDE LOCK EATURE Real Time Clock Feature The LyteScene II Touch Screens also feature a Real Time Clock, which allows lighting events to coincide with specific times, days, or sunrise/sunset, including exceptions for holidays or other special events.
