    90521333 VPX2102 Hand Vac 8/2/07 SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS INTRODUCTION Black & Decker VPX chargers are designed to charge Black & Decker VPX packs in approximately 5-6 hours. The charger requires no adjustment and is designed to be as easy as possible to operate. Simply place your battery pack into the receptacle of a plugged in charger and it will automatically charge the pack.

Insert the battery pack into the charger (figure B). Be sure the pack is fully seated in the charger. While charging, the red (charging) LED will flash continuously (slowly) indicating that the charging process has started.

Foreign materials of a conductive nature such as, but not limited to, steel wool, aluminum foil, or any buildup of metallic particles should be kept away from charger cavities. Always unplug the charger from the power supply when there is no battery pack in the cavity.

Remove the inner filter and shake, tap or lightly brush outside surface to remove loose dust. Both filters can be rinsed as shown in figure L.
