FIlTRO DE SARRO Siempre hierva el agua con el filtro de sarro en su lugar, justo detrás de la boquilla (D). el sarro se forma con el tiempo al calentar agua. Aunque el sarro es natural e inofensivo, puede producir una sustancia polvorienta o partículas minerales que pueden caer en las bebidas calientes y afectar el sabor. Si bien el elemento calefactor oculto de este hervidor reduce la acumulación de sarro, el filtro permite evitar que las partículas pasen a sus bebidas. Cuidado y limpieza este aparato no contiene piezas reparables por el consumidor. Para servicio, por favor acuda a personal calificado. 1. Antes de limpiar, asegúrese que la base del hervidor esté desenchufada y que el aparato se haya enfriado por completo. Vacíe toda el agua sobrante del hervidor. 2. Retire el filtro de sarro para limpiarlo. lave el filtro con agua jabonada y enjuague o colóquelo en el recipiente para utensilios de la máquina lavaplatos. 3. lave el interior del hervidor con agua jabonada y enjuague. NUNCA SUMeRJA el HeRVIdoR eN AGUA NI eN NINGÚN oTRo lÍQUIdo ni lo introduzca en la máquina lavaplatos. 4. limpie el exterior y la base del hervidor con un paño o una esponja húmeda y seque bien. el elemento calefactor oculto en el interior del fondo del hervidor se puede decolorar. esto no afectara el rendimiento del aparato. No use jabones, limpiadores ni almohadillas abrasivas. 5. Según la frecuencia de uso y la dureza del agua en la región, el aparato podría calentar pero no hervir. en este caso, el aparato debe ser descalcificado. SCAlE FIlTER Always boil water with the scale filter in place just behind the spout (D). lime scale forms over time when water is heated. Though scale is natural and harmless, it may produce a powdery substance or mineral-like chunks that can get into your hot beverages and affect the taste. While the concealed heating element in this kettle is designed to help reduce scale buildup, the filter helps prevent particles from pouring into your beverage. Care and Cleaning This appliance contains no user-serviceable parts. Refer service to qualified service personnel. 1. Before cleaning, be sure the base is unplugged and the kettle has cooled completely. empty any remaining water from the kettle. 2. Pull out the scale filter for cleaning. Wash the filter in warm soapy water and rinse or place it in the utensil holder of the dishwasher. 3. Wash the inside of the kettle with soapy water and rinse. NeVeR IMMeRSe THe KeTTle IN WATeR oR oTHeR lIQUIdS or place in a dishwasher. 4. Wipe the exterior of the kettle and base with a damp cloth or sponge and dry. The concealed heating element at the bottom of the interior may discolor. This will not affect performance. do not use abrasive soaps, cleansers, or scouring pads. 5. over time, the kettle may heat up but will not boil, depending on your use and the hardness of the water in your area. When this happens, it is time for descaling. Use a scale/lime remover and follow its manufacturer's directions. TROUBlESHOOTING PROBlEM POSSIBlE CAUSE Kettle is not heating. Kettle is not plugged in.
