The BKP-5090 is the camera upgrade boards for the color video camera BVP-500/500P/550/550P. By installing the BKP-5090 in the camera, it will be upgraded to a 12-bit digital signal processing camera. To install proceed as follows. When upgrading the camera with the 16:9/4:3 switchable OHB incorporat- ed, the wide screen DSP board BKP-5091 (separately available) is also required.
Install the supplied battery into the battery holder (BT1) on the AT-126 board. Ensure that the battery is installed with “+” and “_” poles connected to the correct terminals. An improper connection may cause an explosion or leakage of fluid. 1-2 (E) BKP-5090...

Section 2 Electrical Alignment This section explains adjustment items required after the BKP-5090 is installed in the camera. Adjust- ment procedure differs depending on the camera in which the BKP-5090 is installed, BVP-500/500P or BVP-550/550P. Adjustments are performed by using the setup menu. For the setup menu operation, refer to Section 3 (for BVP-550/550P) or Section 4 (for BVP-500/500P).

2. Storing the reference file After upgrading the camera by the BKP-5090, data stored as the reference file in the camera will become invalid and data stored in the setup card will, too. Restore the reference file after the following adjust- ments and settings are completed.
